Tourism is becoming substantial for the economy wherefore all countries seek to develop it by taking advantage of all its energies, on top of it media, especially documentary cinema, because of its credibility that helped to influence the decisions of the viewers.

Subsequently, the present research attempted to reveal the role played by the global documentaries in promoting tourism and the success of Artus documentaries in achieving this.

By analyzing examples of his films, we concluded the following: Documentary cinema plays a major role in promoting tourism and introducing international tourism assets.

Besides, Arthus's works have been characterized by their diversity and their portrayal in a unique style that increased the aesthetic of his documentary image and thus increased the influence of the recipient.
