Abstract EN

This is an a new research work deals with the poetry of the Iraqi modern poet Shallal Annoz in his collection( the sky is still blue) , this research studies the function of the title in this collection which characterized by optimism and draws hope where the poet sings for life , happiness and for joys .

Here the poet takes a new direction in his poetry which differs from his other poems and collections that characterized by sadness and pain .

This collection ( The Sky is still Blue) shows many poems and many titles for these poems which its functions and its significance varies from displacement , grammatical , emotionality , communication and symbolism .

Here I saw in my research the focus on the distinctive evidence that is at the core of understanding the title and understanding its function and what the poet wants the entire wants .

On the other hand the followed approach in this research is the professional ,critical artistic approach which discussed the text away from any other influence whatsoever .

looking to the title and how the poet wants it to be and how its function consistent with the text images , aim and content .
