Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى أبرز مهددات أدوات التواصل الاجتماعي (فيسبوك، و اتساب إنستغرام على العلاقات الزوجية في المجتمع الفلسطيني المعاصر من وجهة نظر الزوجين خلال الفترة (2008-2018م).

و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي التحليلي باستخدام العينة، و اعتمدت المقابلة و الاستبانة كأدوات لجمع البيانات بعد التحقق من صدقها و ثباتها، و طبقت الاستبانة على عينة بلغت (1228) مبحوث من الأزواج و الزوجات من مستخدمي أدوات التواصل الاجتماعي في ثلاث محافظات رئيسية نابلس، رام الله، الخليل) لتمثل المجتمع الفلسطيني في الضفة الغربية، وتم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية العنقودية.

توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: أن أدوات التواصل الاجتماعي أضعف التفاعل الوجاهي بين الزوجين، وأتاحت الأدوات لأحد الزوجين أو كليهما في البحث عن النقص في المشاعر أو التوافق لديه ها من خلال هذا العالم الافتراضي، ووفرت فرص الخيانة الزوجية، وزيادة نسب الطلاق أو الطلاق العاطفي بين الزوجين وأسهمت في ارتفاع نسب الجرائم الإلكترونية، الأمر الذي ينتهي عادة بالتفكك الأسري.

في ضوء هذه النتائج اقترحت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: توصي الدراسة للمؤسسات المرجعية ومنها المؤسسات الدينية (المساجد والكنائس)، مؤسسات التربية والتعليم العالي، تضمين مناهجها حصصا للتوعية بخطورة الاستخدامات الخاطئة قانونيا واجتماعيا - لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، كذلك توصي المؤسسات الإعلامية لتنظيم برامج إعلامية عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي أو بصورة وجاهية مباشرة، لتوعية أفراد المجتمع إلى مخاطر الاستخدام السلبي لأدوات التواصل الاجتماعي، و نشر ثقافة الحوار بين أفراد الأسرة وخاصة الأزواج.

English Abstract

The study aims to identify the most prominent threats posed by social media tools (Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram) on marital relations in the Palestinian society from the viewpoint of the spouses during the period (2008-2018).

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted in working with the sample.

The interview and questionnaire were adopted as tools for collecting data after verifying its validity and reliability.

They were applied to a sample of (1228) respondents from husbands and wives who use social media tools in three main governorates (Nablus, Ramallah, and Bethlehem) to represent the Palestinian community in the West Bank, and they were chosen via the cluster random sampling method.

The study reached a set of results9 social media tools have a great role in influencing marital relationships, as the gaps between spouse's inrease, actual interaction between spouses decrease.

These tools made it possible for one or both spouses to seek fulfillment or compensation for lack of feelings and harmony through the virtual/cyber world and provided opportunities for marital infidelity, hereby increasing rates of divorce or emotional divorce.

Social media tools also contribute to the increase in numbers and in types of cybercrimes, usually leading to family disintegration.

This study adopts a set of recommendations: that husbands set limits and controls for using social media tools at home.

that the Higher Education Council adopts courses or academic requirements concerned with educating students about the advantages and risks of using social media tools and the mechanisms for their safe use and that Media institutions create programs to educate community members about the dangers of destructive use of social media tools.
