This research aims to identify the causes and consequences of regional disparities in the wilaya of Borj according to a geographical approach which is based on the diagnosis of the natural reality and the spatial changes induced by the modes of local development or previous civilizations (which he either linked to technical tools such as administrative divisions, or financial tools such as municipal development plans, etc.

) using the descriptive approach to highlight natural variations (terrain, climate, water) and historical approach (to follow the most important spatial changes during the colonial period and the modes of development from independence to the present day).
