Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to define learning disabilities, with an indication of the seriousness of the lack of awareness of the difficulty in learning by those in charge of the educational process in schools, whether they are teachers, mentors, psychologists and social workers, administrators, or parents.

the researcher used the descriptive analytical method to achieve the research objectives.

the research reached a set of results, the most important of which is that the prevalence of learning difficulties is high, according to the results of studies the local and Arab precedent, and that there are no official Arab statistics that limit the rates of its spread of all kinds.

there is also a lack of awareness of the difficulty of learning and the danger of its spread, whether by those in charge of the educational process or by parents, from field visits during exploratory campaigns and raising awareness of the learning disabilities in a number of basic education schools.

the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to take action to prevention, reduction and treatment of learning difficulties.
