The influence of the national song extends long, to raise national the issues, or to raise the value of belonging and found its way to hearts exceeded its age, and remained alive in the conscience and mind of the sons of society, built for itself a place in the hearts of citizens, formed in their conscience, reached an advanced development, and achieved a steady artistic rise.

the national song has become a cultural necessity that expresses patriotism, defending it and sacrificing for it, for its role in playing patriotic feelings, awakening the citizen’s spirit, expressing patriotism and beauty, calling for the values of freedom and peace, cultivating the idea of nationalism and influencing the feelings of young people.

this research seeks to stand at the position of the national song on the issues of peoples and invite them to move forward to achieve their legitimate demands, and motivate them to obtain their rights.

through four chapters, the first of which is from the methodological framework of the research including the problem of research and its goals and importance, and the limits of the research and terminology contained therein, while the second it came with tow topics, the first is it came under the title national singing old and new two sections, and the second, the Iraqi national song and the third chapter contained the research procedure, and the results of the research came in the fourth chapter.
