This study is concerned with tracing the tragic vision and its representations in Ibn Al-Farid’s poetry, as it is an attempt to re-read his texts by shedding light on the pattern of tragic anxiety, and meditating on the nature of sadness, and elucidating conscious and unconscious weeping as a pivotal phenomenon around which the al-Farid text revolved until it became a stylistic necessity bearing psychological sensual, ideological and intellectual implications..

The mystical adoration and its wide range between the profane lover Ibn Al-Farid and the sacred lover of the Divine Essence are the most contributing factors to its creation.
