يمثل نشاط الوكالة الدولية لضمان الاستثمار في جذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية في الدول النامية بالمساهمة في تقديم جملة من الضمانات ضد المخاطر للمستثمرين في الدول المستقبلة للاستثمار الأجنبي، و رغم هذه الضمانات ن قبل الوكالة الدولية لضمان الاستثمار كألية مستحدثة لتوفير المناخ المناسب لكل من الدول المصدرة و الدول المستوردة للرأسمال إلا أنها تحتاج لإصلاح في طبيعة نشاطاتها تماشيا مع المستجدات الراهنة في العلاقات الاقتصادية الدولية
Abstract EN
The activity of the International Investment Guarantee Agency is to attract foreign investment to developing countries by helping to provide a range of risk guarantees to investors from countries receiving foreign investments.
Despite these guarantees provided by the International Investment Guarantee Agency as a new mechanism to create an appropriate climate for both exporting and capital importing countries, it needs to reform the nature of their activities in function of current developments in international economic relations.

L'activité de l'Agence internationale de garantie des investissements est d'attirer les investissements étrangers dans les pays en développement en contribuant à fournir une gamme de garanties de risque aux investisseurs des pays recevant des investissements étrangers.
Malgré ces garanties fournies par l'Agence internationale de garantie des investissements en tant que nouveau mécanisme pour créer un climat approprié tant pour les pays exportateurs que pour les pays importateurs de capitaux, elle a besoin d'une réforme de la nature de leurs activités en fonction de l'évolution actuelle des relations économiques internationales.
