The issue of pronunciation and meaning has been a subject of controversy among researchers since ancient times, and among those who asked a lot about it was Al-Jahiz, who said: “The meanings are on the way…” In light of this saying, the subject of our research came, which is tagged with: “The dialectic of pronunciation and meaning according to Al-Jahiz.

” Where we try to clarify - as much as we used - the problematic of Al-Jahiz's opinion on this issue, to which current he belongs, and what efforts he made to enrich the Arabic language.
