Q15This study is a spatial analysis of the environmental reality and sources of pollution in As-Samin Valley in the West Bank city of Hebron, focusing on the critical state of environmental degradation in the region due to many factors (2018-2019).

Using the analytical and comparative approach, the study analyzed and explain the spatial relationships between human activities and their consequences on the environment.

The study reveals that wastewater runoff in the region has led to a decrease in the area of agricultural land by 25%, a high increase in the number of farmers deserting their farms, indiscriminate dumping of solid waste, lack of environmental awareness among the inhabitants of the area.

The study also sheds light on the annual flow rates of springs 2615 m 3 / year, and the average annual precipitation in the area 500mm / year.
