Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze and explain the possession by the agricultural contractor of competencies to be mastered to carry out his tasks effectively and to what extent this affects entrepreneurial success in the agricultural sector, a questionnaire was used to investigate a sample of agricultural enterprises of saffron producers, then the data obtained are processed using the statistical program EXCEL and SPSS.

The most important results obtained were the availability of agricultural contractors on behavioral and entrepreneurial skills and to a lesser extent management skills, to varying degrees.

As we have noticed a lack of reflection of the contractor in the expansion of the project and the search for partners, as well as the lack of exchange of recent informations, in particular with university research laboratories.
