Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the global economy.

To achieve this objective, we relied on the descriptive analytical approach in presenting and analyzing the reality of some basic economic sectors at the global economy level before and after the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.

The study concluded that the Covid-19 pandemic led to an unprecedented recession in the global economy since World War II; the tourism sector as well as the labor market sector were among the most affected economic sectors.

Furthermore, the study showed that there are many economic sectors that have known Great recovery, led by the manufacturing sector, because of easing the closure procedures and some other measures taken by many governments and international economic organizations to limit the economic effects of the pandemic.
