يحفل تاريخ الجزائر إبان حقبة الاحتلال الفرنسي بالعديد من الأحداث التي يمكن استخلاصها من مصادر حية، و يحضر من بين هذه المصادر مدونات الرحالة الذين نقلوا مختلف الأحداث التي شاهدوها أثناء رحلتهم عبر الجزائر، وقد ركزوا في ذلك على ما ارتبط بالسكان الجزائريين.
نحاول من خلال هذه الدراسة نقل شهادات و مشاهدات هؤلاء الرحالة على اختلاف مواقفهم و أهدافهم، محاولين بذلك تقديم رؤيتهم اتجاه الواقع مع تطبيق منهج التاريخ من تحقيق و مقابلة و مقارنة للوصول إلى حقيقة الواقع، و مدى صدق الشهادة.
و كان من بين عينات الرحلات التي استندنا اليها رحلة الصادق باي ( باي تونس) و رحلة بوعشرين ممثل سلطان المغرب الأقصى السلطان عبدالعزيز، و رحلة الأديب المصري محمد فريد و رحلة مثقف تركي.

Abstract EN
The history of Algeria colonial is rich in documentation, and among these important documents we refers to wanderers writings about the situation of Algeria and especially the social condition of the Muslim (Indigenous).
We try in this study to convey the different testimonies and observations of these wanderers regardless of their different positions and goals, so we present their vision by the application of the history method of investigation, interview and comparison to reach the reality about colonial policy in Algeria.
We rely on some examples such as the trip of Sadik Bey (Bey of Tunis) to Algeria, and the trip of Bou-Acherine representative of Moulay Abdelaziz the Sultan of Morocco… etc.
