Abstract EN

This paper deals with the Section of Alms, referred to as Al-Zakat; one of the important Islamic Law Sections which occupies a significant position in the Islamic Religion.

The scholar will focus on the terminology stated for the subject matter through proofing that the purposes of the Islamic Law, known as Sharia, are miscellaneous in all sections of the Islamic Thought.

And that these purposes, contrary to what some believe, do not only apply in the sections of transactions and customs.

However, they extend them to Worship Section despite the fact that the core essence of worshiping is worship itself, regardless of purposes and meanings, taking into consideration that purposes, meanings and judgment are found in worshiping practices, and others as well.

Next, the scholar will highlight the impact of alms in the edification and education of the human self, and its role in development and growth of money, and that alms is one of the most effective and successful methods in eliminating some negative aspects in the society.

The research also aims at clarifying that the term of purposes is not limited to transactions, but also employed in worshiping practices, and that alms rules have certain purposes that must be taken into account.

Such purposes play a vital role in motivating people to give for free, sacrifice, help the needy and be generous.

In addition, it is essential to precisely demonstrate that there are several issues to be considered when it comes to the detailed Islamic Legitimate Purposes that the Islamic Religion seeks to achieve through the legislation of alms regulations.

These purposes or intentions stem from the worshiping motivation, with which the educational/ethical intention aligns with, and which is supportive by the social and symbiotic intention, complementary to the economical, developmental purpose that serves the worshiping and advocacy purpose of the Mohammedan message.

Of the most important points highlighted by the scholar is that identifying the alms rules by the Islamic Law has an effective role and an important selection by God, whether at the level of behavior and ethics, or economics and development.

In fact, what distinguishes the Islamic Law is that it addresses the mind and soul together, and cares for both creation and material.
