Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة التعرف على درجة امتلاك معلمي الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً للكفايات التربوية و التقنية اللازمة لهم من وجهة نظرهم في دولة الكويت و علاقة ذلك بمتغيرات (الجنس، و سنوات الخبرة و المؤهل العلمي)، و تحقيقاً لهذا الهدف تم إعداد استبانة مكونة من (36) فقرة، قسمت إلى ثلاثة مجالات رئيسية، جرى التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، و تم تطبيقها على عينة اختيرت بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة مكونة من (198) معلماً و معلمة من معلمي الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً في دولة الكويت، و توصلت الدراسة الى أن درجة امتلاك معلمي الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً للكفايات التربوية و التقنية اللازمة في دولة الكويت من وجهة نظرهم جاءت متوسطة، و جاء مجال (الكفايات العامة) المرتبة الأولى يليه مجال (الكفايات التدريسية و الفنية) ثم مجال (الكفايات التقنية في المرتبة الثالثة و الأخيرة، كما أظهرت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر متغير (الجنس) على درجة امتلاك معلمي الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً للكفايات التربوية و التقنية على المستوى الكلي و في مجال الكفايات التدريسية والفنية)، و لصالح المعلمين الذكور، بينما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر متغير (المؤهل العلمي و الخبرة التدريسية) على درجة امتلاك معلمي الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً للكفايات التربوية و التقنية، و في ضوء النتائج أوصت الدراسة ضرورة عقد دروات تدريبية مستمرة لمعلمي الأطفال المعاقين عقلياً من أجل تطوير كفاياتهم التدريسية و الفنية و التقنية.

English Abstract

This study aimed at identifying degree at which the teachers of mentally disabled children have the required technical and educational competencies from their perspective in the state of Kuwait and the relationship of that with the variables of (gender, years of experience, educational qualification).

In order to achieve this objective, a 36-item questionnaire was developed ; it consisted of three main domains.

The study instrument's validity and reliability were verified.

The study sample was chosen using the simple random way and consisted of (198) male and female teachers of the mentally-disabled children in Kuwait.

The study results showed that the degree to which the teachers of the mentally-disabled children have the required technical and educational competencies in the state of Kuwait from their perspective was medium.

The domain of (general competencies) was in the first rank followed by (technical and teaching competencies), and finally the domain of (technological competencies).

The results revealed that there are statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of gender regarding the degree to which the teachers of the mentally-disabled children have the technical and educational competencies at the overall level and the domain of (technical and educational competencies in favor of the male teachers.

The results revealed that there are no statistically significant differences due to the variable of (educational qualification, educational experience) regarding the degree to which the teachers of the mentally-disabled children have the technical and educational competencies.

In the light of the results, the study recommended the necessity of holding continuous training courses for the teachers of the mentally-disabled children in order to develop their technological, technical and educational competencies.
