Abstract EN

The topic of this research: "Ibn Taymiyyah's Approach Features in Fundamental al-Qiyas "Analogy", which derives its importance from being related to the approach, analogy, and Ibn Taymiyyah.

This research addresses the meaning the approach and its kinds, Ibn Taymiyyah's approach in fundamental al-Qiyas, validity of al-Qiyas, relationship of al Qiyas to revelation, explain whether al-Qiyas is valid or not, need to al Qiyas, al-Qiyas evidence for certainty, and denying the violation of something from the Sharia based on the valid al-Qiyas, then, the relation between Ibn Taymiyyah approach in al-Qiays and analogical partial issues, all that in this research that consists of introduction and eight themes.

The research was also concerned with follow up, synthesize, and analyze Ibn Taymiyyah's texts from his book, letters, and fatwas.

Therefore, the researcher found that Ibn Taymiyyah's approach in al-Qiyas is characterized by five features as follows: strengthen relying on al-Qiyas, moderation, flexibility, reality, and continuity.

In addition, Ibn Taymiyyah used three types of scientific research approaches in al-Qiyas as follows: inductive, deductive, and historical.
