The study aimed at identifiying the existence of a correlation between reading comprehension and Inhibition skill among the fourth-year primary school students, To achieve the purpose of the study, we used several tests (Raven's color matrix test, Reading comprehension test designed by the researcher, and Inhibition tests adapted from the NEPSY battery.

Where the research sample consisted of 70 students divided into two groups (35 students with good reading comprehension / 35 poor level students) Their ages range from 8-10 years, They are studying in the fourth year of primary school in Ain Defla.

The results indicated the existence of a positive statistically significant correlation between the reading comprehension of the written text and the Inhibition function, in addition to the presence of statistically significant differences between students in the scores of the reading comprehension test.

And the presence of statistically significant differences between students with a good level of reading comprehension and a weak level of reading comprehension at the level of the Inhibition function
