Arbitration is deemed important in the economic life of all countries, specially, the advanced countries, because the international transactions became vast, and there is no country that doesn't has transactions beyond its borders, and in order to achieve security and reassure the contractors to get rid of the restrictions imposed by the Substantive and procedural laws beside the trend to hasten resolving the disputes that occurs because of executing the transactions either they were commercial or non commercial, because the state judiciary system and the procedures and the methods of appeal in the issued rulings may be a delay factor in resolving the disputes , beside seeking confidentiality and not to disclose the content of the lawsuit, because the general principal in the state judiciary system is the publicity of information and the exception is the confidentiality in a limit that achieves the confidentiality of information that disclosing it may be a source of embarrassment that are suffered by a lot of merchants either by disclosing the reality of the financial position or the transactions nature , that all shall be addressed by the research were the motive to search for alternate methods to resolve the disputes , thus the arbitration in the transactions became the most important alternate method to resolve the disputes in the transactions in the mean time.

The study shall be divided into two topics, the first shall address the Substantive laws as an important introduction to the subject , and in the second the standards followed by the arbitrator in determining the law that should be applied.
