This research aims to study the psychodynamic factors of resilience in children victims of divorce, using a clinical approach based on a case study.

direct observation and semi-guided interview were used in addition to the Ruschach test.

by applying it to the sample consisting of two school children, their ages are 11 and 12 years, it was concluded that the resilient child is characterized by effective psychological defense and capacity in the imaginary space, unlike the non-resilient child, which shows a fragile defense and a narrow imaginary space, and in light of these results it is suggested the study pays attention to everything that allows enriching the child's imaginative space and enhancing his psychological defense by strengthening his self-confidence and valuing his self-esteem.
