This article deals with the question of memory and its mode of transmission in the work of Zoubeida Mameria, it sheds light on the functioning of the short story as a deliberate choice by the writer and her investment in fiction, mystification and allegory in its transcription of lived truths and macabre afflictions.
the evocation of the emotions of the victims or their descendants as well as the invocation of the reader, are only tips among many others used by the author to develop and forge this fundamental plausibility in the narrative framework, and which contribute to the preservation of this memory and its sustainability through the generations as well as the construction of identity.

Le présent article traite la question de la mémoire et son mode de transmission dans l'œuvre de Zoubeida Mameria, il fait la lumière sur le fonctionnement de la nouvelle comme choix délibéré par l'écrivaine et son investissement dans la fiction, la mythification et l'allégorie dans sa transcription des vérités vécues et des afflictions macabres.
l'évocation des émotions des victimes ou de leurs descendants ainsi que l'invocation du lecteur, ne sont que des astuces parmi tant d'autres usées par l'auteure pour élaborer et forger ce vraisemblable fondamentale dans la trame narrative, et qui contribuent à la préservation de cette mémoire et à sa pérennité à travers les générations ainsi qu'à la construction identitaire.
