In light of the problems that the Iraqi economy suffers from due to the ence of financial reforms, the inability to address and confront administrative and financial corruption and the fragility of planning for the country's federal budget, the inevitable contradictions will continue to not achieve sustainable development, especially since Iraq suffers from the worst performance of GDP growth since 2003, Instability, lack of job opportunities, corruption and poor services remain among the most important risks impeding long-term growth in the country.

Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop the fragile federal budget through structural transformation, financial reform and diversification of national income sources in order to give a greater opportunity to the private sector.

The high level of fragility, conflict, corruption and dependence on oil for a single resource hinders the country's progress towards financial and economic reform.
