This article deals with the linguistic principles adopted by Imam Ibn Qutaybah, who died in the year 276 AH, in guiding the problem in the Noble Qur'an through his book (tawil mushkal al-qaraan), and we mean the linguistic principles: Language investigations of phonetics, morphology, grammar, rhetoric, connotation, and lexicography, as well as dialects of the Ar, where we present these assets and interrogate them through the examples presented according to what the author of the work sees, from the phonemic level; The interrupted letters in the Qur'an, and the morphological; the formulas, their recurrence, the issues of individuation and plural, and from the grammatical level of the verses that clearly contradicted the parsing, towards what was mentioned in Surah (Taha), and from the metaphorical rhetorical level and its uses, methods, the Qur'an is full of this, and from the common semantic level Verbal, contradiction, and from the lexical level strange words mentioned in the Qur'an text, the author explained them, towards.
