Abstract EN

This study aimed to standardize the LAST test to assess the oral language in cases of aphasia resulting from cerebrovascular accident on a sample consisting of 172 cases from five states of the Algerian environment « Setif, Algiers, Ouargla, Oran, and Tebessa ».

In order to acheive the objectives of this study, we translated the test items from French to Arabic language and applied it ramdomly to a sample.

In order to analyse the obtained data by using the appropriate statistical methods, we reached the following results: -the LAST test has the characteristics of a good test in terms of reliability.

-the LAST test has the characteristics of a good test in terms of validity.

-Standards for Last test performance were extracted by adopting the standard normal distribution.
