The Corona pandemic has caused serious effects on the world economy, which have significantly affected all sectors, in particular the financial and banking sector, which has required the adoption of a set of preventive measures to reduce the negative effects of the health crisis on the global economy, which we have tried to shed light on by addressing the impact of the health crisis on the decisions of the Basel committee on banking supervision, where the study aimed to draw up a complete picture of all the Basel decisions and to evoke the reasons for delaying Basel 4 through the use of descriptive and analytical approaches the severe health crisis, as well as helping countries take a set of precautionary measures to limit the repercussions of the pandemic.
