The debate over using acronyms has always raged as a basic mechanism in generating the Arabic term, and it is often the least reliable method that comes after derivation, metaphor, and translation.

but nowadays, language requires keeping up with the terminological development in the world, especially the scientific and technical language, which makes linguistic abbreviation an often desirable method.

thus, we aim through this research to shed light on this linguistic phenomenon, how Arabic users deal with it, and how the communicative goal is achieved, especially in highly specialized languages.
