Abstract EN

This research seeks to find out the aesthetics narrative in the contemporary Algerian novel.

among the novelists who have been interested in it, we find "Mohamad Meflah" in his novel (the ghost of the Caledonians).

the importance of this studying the narrative structure lies by relying on some of the mechanisms that form the narrative construction, including : the title threshold, characters, time, place, and event structure.

and these problems presented here is how the aesthetics narrative r crystallized in the novel the ghost of the Caledonian ? and what are its adopted mechanisms for narrative analysis ? the subject of the study came out with a set of results that are reflected in deciphering the textbooks by a novelist, presenting a new form in the novel related to excavations around his exiled grandfather to the island of new Caledonia, and revealing the changes that the grandson who is entrusted with the responsibility of searching for details of his exiled grandfather knew.
