In recent years, research in pragmatics has turned attention to the cognitive approach which focused on the mind being the center of building meaningful perceptions, the thing which Made it possible to go beyond the interpretation of familiar rhetorical formats, to unfamiliar rhetorical ones.

This last is based on the imaginary construction by creating meaningful and not formal structures among which we find the metaphorical construction.

In this research, we focus on the cognitive background of the topic and its communicative role.

So, what is the metaphorical construction from a linguistic cognitive view? And what are its effective limits as non formal statement?.
