The study of characters has known multiple, different and even contradicted recognition difficulties started from Aristotle, Lucach, Todorov, Bob and others up to Philip Hamon definitions; accordingly, this approach targets to describe the structure of the protagonist in "men under sun" novel.

The study only concerns the present characters that relate to the "present story" due to the length of the study incase it extends to other levels.
