The research sheds light on one of the prominent Iraqi poets, Sheikh Mohamed Bahia Al-Athari (d.
1996).
He is considered to be an excellent poet, and his poetry will be examined both thematically and artistically.
Moreover he published a poetry collection.
This research aims at introducing this prominent poet to the new generation as well as to the educated class.
