The research paper aims to shed light on the basics of development and the main drivers to push the growth and development which are the transport sector and the energy sector, as transportation represents the largest energy consuming sector especially fossil sources that faced several imbalances including the possibility of their depletion soon, and this coincided with irrational consumption, as well as the damage they caused to the environment and threatened the health of the individual and life on Earth.

This necessitated the adoption of new and renewable alternatives that are economically and technically efficient and environmentally clean.

Algeria, like other countries, has embarked on its endeavors and efforts to promote the energy transition through the use of clean fuels represented in unleaded gasoline and LPG in cars and buses, and to confirm their efficiency with engines and the demand of car owners for it.
