The principle of separation of powers is one of the most important constitutional principles, as it has been guaranteed by most successive Algerian constitutions because of its important role in the legislative movement, especially between the two powers (legislative, executive), and as an inevitable result of confronting economic crimes, including smuggling, as well as the need of the State for regulations, and the completion of the framed legislative process to fill and explain the general laws that need to be regulated, including their articles, where their legal form is not completed except through the latter so that we calculate them as an approach to the laws that guide people.

In order to analyze various legislation such as ordinary penal laws, as well as privacy in accordance with special criminal techniques (smuggling law and amended and complementary customs law) this was reflected in the constitutional amendment in 2020 in its various articles 16, 139, 143 of it, which in the latter constitutes the so-called function of "legislative integration".
