Since time immemorial, man has laid down rules to protect him from the dangers of a hostile environment of natural origin, such as earthquakes, floods and storms.

When the risks have increased and problems have worsened with the modern industrial crisis, he alerts people to the need to address environmental problems so that the environment remains a comfortable home for their lives.

Environmental challenges in general result from the fundamental changes that may occur in the structure of the natural environment.

Others result from the inability of a human being to balance the work needed to satisfy his or her rapidly evolving needs with the preservation of a healthy environment free from dysfunction.

Algeria, like other States, seeks to preserve and protect the environment through the activation of an environmental strategy in which all the main actors participate from the individual as the principal member of the ecosystem, which requires rational intervention in order to preserve and protect its natural balance.

This is achieved through the State, which has the task of maintaining the environmental balance, through the drafting of legal rules and regulations relating to the protection of the environment.
