In the ancient era, the study of the literary criticism elements was termed the science of rhetoric, including the sciences of eloquence and meanings, and the third one is the science of Badi, because this science cannot study some of the issues that worry both the critics and poets.

So, we find that the rhetoric science is unable to answer them, while criticism answers them in a thorough/extensive verbosity.

These issues are thorny in their structure and meaning, and they are the issue of term and semantics, ancient and modern, naturalness and artificiality and plagiarism, as well as the inclusion/embodiment that goes under the terms and meaning section, and creativity and innovation.

All of these issues are fragments that exclude rhetoric from its study.

How did the critics address it and what is their view toward it if rhetoric is unable to handle it?
