The following study aims to address a sensitive social group, which is the elderly.

This is by clarifying the roles that the media must play in serving the issues of this category, and studying the current situation of the media's handling of the issues of the elderly and the most important obstacles and challenges facing media practice in this context.

In this, the researcher relies on an analytical study aimed at analyzing the content of Echorouk Online as a sample of the electronic press in order to reveal and analyze the content of the website related to the issues of the elderly in form and content.

The study aims to comprehensively list the various issues of the elderly of common interest, which is estimated at 60 topics published on the site since the launch of the site until 2021.

Among the most important results reached is the ence of a scientific methodology and a clear strategy in dealing with the issues of the elderly, in addition to the superficiality of the issues raised and the predominance of the news nature in addressing them.
