In this research paper, we attempt to shed light on the subject of scientific research through its concept and importance, its characteristics and tools trough an abbreviated simple form to help both students and researchers by the principles of the methodology of research during their research career.

The research begins by referring to the concept of the scientific research, its importance and characteristics to reach the different types of scientific research.

For this purpose, we are going to examine the following problematic: what is an approach? And what is the concept of scientific research, and where does it lie? Also, what are its characteristics and tools? To answer this problematic, we relied on various specialized sources that have a direct positive impact on the research.
