The aim of the research was to reveal the effect of cognitive skill exercises and the method used in learning the technical performance of the skill of stabbing in the blind weapon, and to reveal the differences in the post-test between the two research groups in learning the technical performance of the skill of stabbing in the blind weapon, and the researcher used the experimental method for its suitability to the nature of the research, and the formation of a community The research was from the third academic year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Mosul, and the research sample consisted of two experimental and control groups who were randomly selected by (12) students for each group after excluding the repeaters, the deferred and the college players, and the researcher prepared an educational program that includes a set of skill exercises.

For a period of (8) weeks, with one educational unit per week, the time of the educational unit is (60) minutes, as the equivalence in age, height, mass, intelligence and some elements of physical fitness, mobility and technical performance of the two groups was conducted.

The researcher used personal interview, questionnaire, test and measurement as means of data collection, and concluded That the experimental group achieved a positive development in the technical performance of the skill of stabbing the blind weapon using the exercises Cognitive skill, and the experimental group outperformed the control group in the post test in learning the technical performance of the skill of stabbing in the shutter weapon using the cognitive skill exercises, and the use of the cognitive skill exercises was recommended because they have an effective effect on the speed of learning and the development of the accuracy of the challenge.
