Abstract EN

Diseases caused by viruses spread worldwide depending on the progress of prevention methods and vector control like rodents, mosquitoes and flies.

Disease caused by germs living in rodents and fleas can infect man as well as animals.

When the disease starts spreading outside usual limits, it turns into epidemic which is defined by the World Health Organization as it is the outbreak of a disease in an unexpected manner which calls for being on alert.

In this case the epidemic becomes a catastrophe especially if there is a threat to spread all over the world with its negative impact on human race.

There are no dividing lines between disease and epidemic.

For the disease represents danger but the epidemic leads to disaster.
