It is a truth generally acknowledged that during the second half of the 20th century, the facets contemporary Algerian fine art has tremendously changed.

this is due to several factors including social, political and cultural influences which have had both a negative and positive impact regarding the growth of these contemporary artistic experiences, this resulted in creating a gap between the trilogy: the artist; the artwork, the audience of the artistic product.

the consequences are quite apparent on the recipient, who is also affected by the various influences that accompanied the factors above mentioned.
