سيتم الحديث في هذه الدراسة عن الموسيقى العثمانية و أنواعها و مدى انتشارها و تأثيرها في بلاد المغرب خلال الفترة ما بين القرنين العاشر- الثاني عشر هجري (16- 18م)، إذ عرف مجتمع بلاد المغرب في هذه المرحلة التاريخية تنوعا في فن الموسيقي بين الموروث المحلي و ما تم اكتسابه من ثقافة العناصر الوافدة العثمانية، و ما جلبته معها من ثقافتها الموسيقية، التي امتزجت مع الذوق المغاربي فأثرت و تأثرت بشكل متفاوت

The Maghrebian Society knew during the Ottoman period a variety OF the Music art, between local heritage and what was acquired from upcoming Ottomans' culture, who carried their own music art, which integrated with Maghrebian taste, thus they mutually influenced one another.
