Abstract EN

This study seeks to discuss the cultural contribution to one of the most important interpretive dimensions of the German philosopher Hans-Georggadamer(1900-2002) and i mean here the artistic dimension, because art is the main theme of the book truth and method(1960) in the first chapter through which gadamerdevelops his entire hermeneutics.

moreover, in the same chapter he deals with the concept of bildung in the German sense.

in this way, we try to find out the possibility of this relationship between art and culture in gadamer’s thought.

so, our issue is to understand the interdependence between art and culture in the philosophical hermeneutics.
