the aesthetic of the rest of the personality elements as a harmonious and integrated unit, since the mask includes wider symbolic dimensions than the rest of the other scenographic elements, due to the stability of features and the multiplicity of functions and forms according to the text and the director.

our case study will be "Diwan Qaraquz", directed by Djillali Boudjemaa, who was inspired in the use of masks by the Italian style commedia Dell'arte or (comedy of the profession or the Italian comedy as it was called).
