The interest in corporate governance in banks expanded to improve the efficiency and performance of banking and anti-corruption, as it is one of the main pillars in the stability and development of the economy through the activation and application of laws and regulations, and emphasizing the importance of disclosure and transparency in them.

Where we studied through this paper the effect of applying the principles of corporate governance on the financial performance of banks in the Gulf region during the period 2010-2018, using the least squares methodThe study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that there is a statistically significant relationship between the variables of governance and the financial performance of the Gulf banks under study.
