The technological development, with the emergence of the electronic trade, hassled to the introduction of new ways of the intellectual property; the traditional written and printed works have been transformed into digital ones available on the internet, either totally or partially free, and some of them are automatically protected to be retrieved, sold, or thriven like: the electronic books or computer applications, all these items are easy to be hacked electronically, so the intellectual property is violated in the light of the electronic trade.

this has raised the experts and magistrates’ interest for protecting them.

the Algerian legislator has given a criminal and civil protection, and he describes the crime, related to this field, as counterfeiting misdemeanour followed with severe penalties, besides civil compensations.
