Understanding suicidal behavior is very important because it provides very valuable information that may help save many lives and alleviate the suffering of patients and their relatives, and from this point of view, the current study came to research an important part related to the cognitive aspect of the personality of the case that made a suicide attempt in order to understand her way of thinking, Thus, our study aims to assess the early maladaptive cognitive schemas of suicide survivors.

In this study, we relied on the descriptive approach, where the field study was conducted on two cases by applying Jeffrey Young's early maladaptive schemas scale.

Essential in organizing the personality of the first case are social introversion (84%), lack of mastery (84%), failure (100%), and excessively demanding ideals (84%).

As for the second case, it showed each of the schemes: emotional deprivation (84%), caution and aggression (100%), social introversion (100%), failure (88%), submission (84%), and self-sacrifice (100%).
