Abstract EN

The interpretation of “Majma’a AL-Anwar Fe Jamea AL-Asrar” by Imam Haji Basha is one of the interpretations that did not take the appropriate attention; as part of it is still a manuscript, and another part is lost.

Additionally, Haji Basha is one of the authors who took care of the Quranic readings and devoted a particular awareness to them in their interpretation; presentation and direction.

This research aims to identify the approach of Imam Haji Basha in presenting and directing the readings through his interpretation, highlighting the implications of them, and introducing the efforts of the Turkish interpreters in their attention to Quranic readings.

To achieve this goal, the research followed the inductive and analytical approaches, from the beginning of Surah Saba’a to the end of Surah Fussilat, by studying his method for presenting and directing readings, stating his opinion on a weighting between readings and criticizing them, as well as highlighting the effect of different readings on the multiplicity of meanings in his interpretation.

The most important findings of this research are Imam Haji Basha exerted his efforts in presenting and argumentations of the Quranic readings, pursued multiple aspects in giving the evidence, his approach was distinguished by brevity and abandoning the expansion, and these directives affected the multiplicity of meanings and their breadth.

This research recommends the importance of finding the missing part of this interpretation and bringing it to the light by investigating and studying it to benefit from it, and to enrich the Islamic library.
