The topic of the passive structure, or financial structuring, is among the topics that are still being studied by many researchers, due to the multiplicity of theories that tried to explain this structure, as well as the results of various experimental studies.

Through a sample of Algerian enterprises, the effect of guarantees and size, as well as the legal form on the liability structure, was reached, and this is consistent with the analysis of signal theory and tradeoff theory.

The effect of both profitability and growth was rejected.
