Abstract EN

The hydrocarbon laws play a direct role in organizing and developing the hydrocarbon sector, and their importance in Algeria increases in terms of the great role of the hydrocarbon sector in the economy, and these laws are considered as the link between the state and the companies operating in the sector.

This study was conducted to shed light on the various hydrocarbon laws in Algeria and its effects on the sector in both the reserves and production sectors.

Among the results obtained is that the effectiveness of laws is affected by several factors, including: international economic conditions, technological factors, as well as geopolitical factors.
