Abstract EN

This paper aims to evaluate the performance indicators of the Algerian Milk Division in the light of the new policy adopted by the state to develop the division in an effort to achieve self-sufficiency from a basic material for the Algerian consumer and eliminate external dependency.

The analysis of data on fresh milk production, collection, and transformation has proven the failure of the policy pursued in this sector to improve the performance of the National Milk Division due to several reasons that we try to identify and diagnose and provide suggestions that would contribute to overcoming obstacles and correcting imbalances.
