he development and diversity of new media has contributed in enriching the freedom of expression, widening spaces for community dialogue.

It opened a wide space for the emergence of various sound and deviant ideas, including the extremist thought, which is found in social networking sites in particular, an opportunity to achieve the desired proliferation away from the societal and legal censorship that has controlled it to some extent in the past.

This research paper deals with the nature of the emerging relationship between the extremist thought and social networking sites through the exposure to opportunities and strategies that should be followed to reduce and address this phenomenon.
