Abstract EN

This research paper aims to conduct a critical and evaluative reading to the contents of the Algerian private TV shows that are concerned with creating and framing violence and crime issues; for these issues constitute a threat to the social order; on the one hand, and; on the other hand, they indicate the existence of a dysfunction in one of the components of social structure.

This; in fact, is seen from the perspective of social responsibility and value determinism as the most prominent media theories concerned with ethics media career in order to develop proposals and recommendations for professional, ethical standards and principals that journalists and media professionals should be guided in dealing with these issues.
